The JH got the night rolling getting the best of Solanco 44 to 19. The dual started at the 170 pound weight class with Logan Martin picking up a decision. The team didn't look back from that moment as they opened up a 27 to nothing lead. Great overall performance from all and team win last night!
Our WRESTLER OF THE NIGHT spotlight goes out to freshman captain Leighton Underwood. Leighton led by true example on the mat during his 145 pound bout. He was aggressive and eager to earn bonus points for the team with a pin in just two minutes. When asked about his match he said, "It was great to calm the nerves and get the first one out of the way. I'm ready and excited for this season!"
